I just have this thing about what I call weird rates..As a matter of fact...
I am now a firm beleiver in agencies.

If a model is not from an agency, then I am shooting a TFCD.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Dont spend money to build a port.

Only spend money on models when you are going to make money on the images. And if you are new, then you most likely are not shooting on a level that will put you in the market place. Save yur money for now, trust me!
