models that won't do prude photography?
what ever happened to the models that do the cutesy giggly stuff? like the greese stuff or alice in wonderland, or even the girl in a candy store with the candy (NON-PORN or NUDE) I miss some of that stuff. I want to find some fun models to work with. Sometimes the serious faces all the time can make thing dull. I have worked with some great gals and guys, but I want to see some portfolios with some life and movement. Show us some smiles and sillyness along with your high fashion, show us your personality. May 06 06 05:52 am Link One of the models I've worked with rarely smiles or gets giggly. Then again, she's got that sex kitten thing going for her. What I can't stand are those dead expressions on models. There's no life or passion and it's like their eyes aren't connecting with the camera and the world beyond. May 06 06 05:55 am Link Blame Tyra. lol May 06 06 06:09 am Link BCI Photo wrote: TYRA BANKS??? May 06 06 06:34 am Link Bryan Crump wrote: I'll do the cutesy girly stuff!!! May 06 06 07:16 am Link Some of us do it all...I can be as silly as I wanna;-) May 06 06 07:21 am Link Bryan Crump wrote: How is this for a "candy store girl"? She was a great pleasure to shoot with. May 06 06 07:22 am Link Have we met? No? Take a look. I wear pots on my head May 06 06 12:08 pm Link One of these days, I'm going to do a photo shoot where all of the shots are just silly. I just need to find a photographer who is willing to help with that... May 06 06 02:57 pm Link I'm looking for a photographer who lets me be silly... there's only been one that I worked with who was awesome with cutesy, smile pics... the rest like the serious look May 06 06 04:32 pm Link Well fashion and glamour isnt supposed to be fun and cute, its usually serious and sultry. The stuff I shoot for paysites is 95% fun and cute, girl next door kinda stuff because thats what sells best for that genre. May 06 06 04:36 pm Link I must say that the title of this thread is astoundingly clever. For you, I might even pose with a lollipop and smile. I don't really go for crinoline white skirts though.... May 06 06 04:39 pm Link "Cause deez iz a nofun bizniz wanker boy. No fun allowed if you're gonna make it to the top! Models being silly and what not!?! There's no room! *** quit lookin' to the left! eyes forward! i'ma tawkin' to ewe! *** If models can't emote or shooters can't shoot pure seduction then nothing else matters! Pots on heads, bubblegum stuck on ya nose, rollin' dem eyes - nobody notices that childish stuff. So that's the story, and it's clear cause I've x-ray vision! grrrrr - no, wait! bzzzzzt May 06 06 04:57 pm Link BCI Photo wrote: That's funny right ther'. If you don't think that's funny you can just leave. May 06 06 04:59 pm Link Nemi wrote: So you're a pot-head?? May 06 06 05:10 pm Link SLE Photography wrote: last time I checked, it said so right on her port. In fact, I believe she has a story about a photographer that made her send him her photos through e-mail cause he couldn't figure out how to use mm...... May 06 06 05:15 pm Link Lapis wrote: And wouldn't hire her because she's clearly a druggie... May 06 06 08:00 pm Link Ahh, yes... I've noticed that as well. It appears that many who are trying to model think that the expression of choice is morbid indifference... which they of course believe to be debilitatingly sexy. Gets a little tired after a while. The fact that there are other moods to portray is apparently lost on them... May 06 06 08:12 pm Link ...sometimes (even just in my painting!) I get the impression that everyone thinks I'm TOO cute and childish. Whatever...my portfokio's out there-decide for yourselves. The fairy pics are nice, and my avatar headshot has the "sweet and innocent" thing apparently-but even that's better than Barbie doll cute. On the other hand, it would be fun to do a cute-girl-with-a-pony idea. Morbid blank indifference?! No way would that ever go over well with either my looks or personality. Rest assured, all virtually anyone will ever see from me is quality interesting work. May 06 06 08:38 pm Link I've seen quite a bit of the Alice in Wonderland type of stuff but that seems to be done more by people in the Goth/Industrial genre. May 06 06 08:42 pm Link i agree... smiles but then when you smile too much they call you "too comercial"..... May 06 06 08:48 pm Link Crap, you had me right up to the NON PORN part..... Candy Elektra has my vote for one of the most fun and energetic models I've ever worked with. https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=17690 May 06 06 08:49 pm Link BRYAN!!!! I loved our shoot we did years ago together, but you moved away!!!! Come back and I'll make all kinds of dumb faces for you. I have no shame. Miss you, Mo!!y May 07 06 03:51 am Link Ahem ...... Tamarin # 53087 bt May 07 06 04:32 am Link Ohhhh this is such a nice change. It's nice to hear a request like this. Usually, I'm having to have a knock-down-drag-out brawl with my photographers to keep my clothing ON. I would LOVE it if they would ask for "cutesy" from me! May 07 06 04:39 am Link What the hell is "prude photography" ???? I've been modeling for 6 years and never heard of such a term. Enquiring minds wanna know. May 07 06 05:04 am Link ART OF ARIANE wrote: I was being silly, since there are so many posts about nude stuff, I do bodypainting, but I like all sorts of stuff. Now that I have moved to Houston, hoping to get a studio to shoot all sorts of cool things, fashion, serioud, editorial, cute, prude, nude, all the crazy cool stuff that defines art and expression I suppose May 07 06 02:27 pm Link Has anyone had to battle with getting the model to put on MORE clothes/leave their clothes on? I've actually had that problem... "No! This isn't a lingerie shoot!" Never thought I'd have a conversation like that with a beautiful woman. May 07 06 04:22 pm Link AshGolgotha wrote: I have come across it on rare occasions, mainly if the outfits are too constricting and it is a fashion show kinda thing. Some people are nudists though, so I dunno. I gues sit all just depends who you work with. Each person is different. May 13 06 07:33 am Link thats horrible that you have to tell women to put thier clothes ON. if i am ever in texas we will definatly shoot together bc i agree. what ever happened to smiling?!? i think we ought to re invent happiness and cuteness in modeling! shooooot... love from so cal~ amber rose May 13 06 07:42 am Link I'd love to do those kind of shoots. I smile sometimes and photographers say not to. An Alice in Wonderland shoot or something sounds fun. And I don't take my clothes off either... May 13 06 08:29 am Link May 15 06 11:15 pm Link i'd love to do girl next door stuff!! May 15 06 11:50 pm Link I'd do it, but I'm not in Texas May 15 06 11:52 pm Link Nemi wrote: i vote for her lol she could REALLY pull this sort of thing off well i think May 15 06 11:53 pm Link Here's your sign. lol Oh god!
