I didn't really have the time to stop and pose for a photo..... I should scan my driver's license, it would at least give an indication of what I looked like.... but nah... Everybody,,,,,,on 3 May 05 06 02:20 am Link Ok, 5 years ago happens to be when I first opened a studio space and started using strobes. No laughing! And the images are very small on this page. This is actually my first photography website with my old business name which is still up, but not technically open(no enter button) lol. I`m sentimental like that Also the truck shot in my portfolio here is 5 years old, also. And still getting good reviews. NO laughing! I heard that! May 05 06 02:30 am Link I have a hard time remembering five minutes ago......I think my time as a photographer is causing cancer from the constant lighting flashes and introduction to new models Thats not a complaint either. May 05 06 02:38 am Link When I saw this title for the post, I thought of the Jonatha Brooke song. "You know the tricks of the trade, you can hit the soft spots at the center You dish it out and take it back riding on the wave of your pompous ways Oh, but sooner or later you'll have to wring your lovely hands in dismay You'll go back to the boardroom, add the numbers up and turn the page at the end of the day. Where were you at the bleakest of moments? Where were you at the hint of success? When through the window of opportunity came the Glimmer of a day in the sun You took the canvas of a life, torn with the wind and the loss Could still pull you along Pocketing images one by one of the past toward your future A penny for your song Position memories carefully, you dust them off at holidays Then you'll go back to the boardroom, declare your passion for the new day I don't think that it's me you've got in mind Looks like the blind still bluffing the blind Lead me on and lay me down 'Cause where were you?" May 05 06 02:42 am Link Five years ago was like yesterday to me. How about 1969. My first Nationally Published image. I'd show the shot and the page but it's A Fine Art Nude. Mike May 05 06 02:44 am Link Five years ago I was a journalism student.I had a friend who was a fashion photographer and I used to think he was so lucky to have my REAL dream job. Last year I got the balls to listen to my heart : ) Hope I'm still at it five years from now... May 05 06 02:50 am Link Getting wasted, in college (the first time around).... didn't even own a camera. May 05 06 08:50 am Link Five years ago I finished up high school and was giving college a go. That didn't work, so I moved up here to be with my boyfriend, and have never looked back. Modeling was not even in the picture, at that point I am not sure that I even believed that I was beautiful yet. How things change... May 05 06 08:51 am Link I've been taking photographs since 1969.
