About Me
Studied Photography at ECC in Torrance, and at UCLA under Matthew Rolston and Craig Mohr. Freelanced for model and acting agencies, and worked as graphic artist for Mattel Toys. Lately I've been concentrating on photographing women's torsos. I do not want pictures that look sterile. An editorial style. I like pictures to have a story, an implication. If a picture is worth a thousand words, tell a story. You can be who you really are in a photo, or someone you are not like at all. Either way, it is freeing.
I encourage models to be themselves, to show their personality. A photo is kind of a self portrait, and I like to think I let the model be who she wants to be, not just what I told her to be. If I get that, that's it. A mutual self portrait. "I'll take it from here, I'll catch my breath, count to ten, and open my eyes...again" - Jonatha Brooke "Once you see it, you're too late" - Doc Rivers My email address is [email protected] Credit Notes
