what do you think?

how many of them know anything about the business and legal stuff before they pose in front of the camera?

and how many who feel they dont a legit agent or manager, actually know WHY legit representation and/or consultation is necessary?

Okay, short answer - yes. IMHO

If you don't know the basics of an industry/profession/hobby then you a) risk failure and b) probably will not advance as well as you would if you know the basics.  If you have no concept of contractual law you may be putting yourself at risk by signing any type of release/papers.  If you don't know, how do you decide if this is in your best interest to sign?   Do you have to know all the fine details?  Probably not, just access to someone who does.  But you should know the basics and be able to understand the conceptual aspects.

I'm probably the wrong person to voice an opinion because I'm the type that reads a contract before I sign it, I ask questions if I don't understand, and I piss off sales reps because I do. smile

Most definitely. It would make them understand things more from our side.
