You named it. I am a terrible singer, ask my husband. He will sit there and listen when I try to be romantic and sing him a love song but he says he would rather read try to read and understand a Spanish poem. (He doesn't know Spanish)

I would choose to sing, anybody with at a half decent look can be on tv with a music video, even if you can't sing.

The best pose is to NOT look posed.  It has to look natural even if it is an un-natural pose.

The gift of gab.

Or to put it another way, the skill of idle chit-chat.

The talent of selling the talents I already have.

However, I have been thinking about singing lately. The autodidact that I am it means getting the lyrics to ten songs and singing along to the CD LOUD when I am alone in the house.

No, I don't want to be a girl.  But it would be nice to be able to "mingle" at those social/business functions without talking about work.

Being able to play my cedar flute on key would be nice...anyone ever hear what Douglas Spotted Eagle and Peter Buffet can do with a flute, drums and some chanters...?

I have the gift of gab. . .it's highly overrated.  Most of the time people just stop listening. . .so the silence makes me keep talking.

Wow. Um, play the guitar would be really nice. But I think everyone on earth would benefit from just having better interpersonal relationship skills. And healthy doses of self esteem. But I digress...

What a coincidence!  I used to play the autodidact in high school!  I hated tuning it, though.
