Applying baby oil to nude adult bodies.
Just a thought. I should go get some coffee now. -Don Mar 11 06 11:22 am Link much better than applying it to clothed adult bodies. although either thought gets me hot... Mar 11 06 11:25 am Link I try to do that as often as I can. Sometimes when I am lonely I do it to myself! Ooops! can't say that on National MM. Okay I take it back. Not since I was seventeen anyway! get out the house Don, meet some people! Mar 11 06 11:27 am Link I leave that job to the MUA. But I have been known to man the water spray bottle. Mar 11 06 11:28 am Link I take applying baby oil to a model very seriously. The shine is a key element to my images and I can not entrust that to another member of the staff. It is also a great way for a model to connect with a photographer that she has never shot with before. Plus I give a killer massage so I've never had one of the hundreds of models I've shot with complain. Marion Frank Star Quality Images Mar 11 06 11:35 am Link The stuff is hell on seamless paper backgrounds! But, if one must suffer for one's art, then apply the oil. (Best if slightly heated before applying - less of a shock to the model!) Mar 11 06 11:37 am Link Nice work if you can get it. Just be careful to keep the baby oil off your camera. Mar 11 06 11:41 am Link Well ...................................Ok so i cant say what i am thinking................but its not as bad as everybody thinks.........honest........its not really........... Mar 11 06 11:46 am Link that would be cool on a beach, watch the sand stick to them and start shooting! Mar 11 06 11:47 am Link D. Brian Nelson wrote: Oh my gosh, loaded question. Are we presuming it is the body of the opposite sex? Mar 11 06 12:10 pm Link JenniferMaria wrote: Tanning oil is better for that if you're on the beach since it includes SPF. Mar 11 06 12:29 pm Link The model should apply the baby oil herself or with the assistance of a stylist. Unless it is a shoot with Donley. Then he should provide massage and spankings. I just want to be sure it's evenly applied." ::saliva dripping onto camera:: Mar 11 06 01:30 pm Link Try Olive Oil... I'm not joking... It creates a much softer sheen... Tastes better too... Mar 11 06 03:17 pm Link I found it interesting that the majority of answers came from male photographers! (I'm envisioning female models getting the hell away from the topic, as fast as they can, out of fear!) Actually, if you can get your nude model oiled up, try spraying some water droplettes on for a different effect. Mar 11 06 03:46 pm Link Baby oil, spritz glycol/water through fine mist (20%glycol/80%water), very nice. And just when did we start tasting baby oil............ OMG, Adrienne is just tooo hot. Mar 11 06 05:35 pm Link Glycerin is what was meant, I think. -D Mar 11 06 05:53 pm Link SLE Photography wrote: I am very flexible. I can reach the small of my back with BOTH hands. Unfortunately, that was only their hobby. They were never professionally licensed by a breast styling school, and therefore were only photograhers that were self taught. Apparently their breast styling did not work too well. Mar 11 06 06:02 pm Link Baby Oil GEL works MUCH better than baby oil ... it doesn't soak into the skin like baby oil does and the sheen lasts longer. I will happily have any trained masseuse cover me in any oil of their choice (many use olive or vegetable oil) for at least an hour. Of course, that may leave pink marks on my skin, so then I will have to sit around and sip Chianti and get touch ups. Mar 11 06 06:48 pm Link McKenzie Bros Photo wrote: great laxative too, I am sure.
