Feb 25 06 05:28 pm Link This one is it for me: When I saw this, I realized I was not really all that interested in shooting glamour anymore. Fashion has always been my thing. I guess when I came back to redo my portfolio and work on developing my style, it was good that I experimented with a few things - and worked with some wonderful models. Now I know fashion is what I want to do, and what I need to do to improve and be able to compete with the local (and later, national) big boys (and girls). Yet, it hasn't drawn any comments. Feb 25 06 05:51 pm Link Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months Oscar Wild Feb 25 06 06:00 pm Link i love this image...i think the colors and composition are wonderful...the hint of a smile, the peak of an eye..... i'm not sure why it hasn't really received many looks or comments...maybe because it is just a headshot, and a partial one at that? Feb 25 06 06:03 pm Link rickOPIOLA that is a classic image. I have old image with a woman rolled in a carpet. You have just inspired me to shoot it again! Feb 25 06 06:33 pm Link https://img2.modelmayhem.com/050704/09/ … bdfd_m.jpg I love this image so much. I called it cigarette break because that's just what it was. I was on a break in shooting and sat down for a minute. It was 100 degrees on a hot Tennessee summer day and I was in latex...someone said something funny and I laughed...otherwise I frowned the rest of the time...haha:-) Jess of Demon Dolls gets the photographer credit here by the way. Feb 25 06 06:47 pm Link Pretty much everything in my portfolio... I'll save you all the hassle of watching all of the images load. Just click on the avatar. Feb 25 06 07:17 pm Link Feb 25 06 08:57 pm Link one from my bigest money maker projects! was proud of this one! Feb 25 06 09:05 pm Link WTH, might as well post my favorite on my MM port. Feb 25 06 10:31 pm Link This may be one of my favorite images - when people see the print, they really seem to like it - but it's pretty much ignored here. I was really please with the match of her skin tones and the rocks colors. The softness of her skin against the rough textures - and that her shoulder and arm angles sort of match the surrounding boulders. And you can't escape her eyes. What the heck - I still like it - VintageV Feb 25 06 10:43 pm Link Vintagevista wrote: Great choice. Beautiful image! Feb 25 06 11:34 pm Link Phil Kimpton wrote: Thanks, Phil! Feb 25 06 11:36 pm Link Only two comments on this one and one is from a girl she went to school with. I like the white on white. Paul Feb 25 06 11:37 pm Link Such simple things make such a difference- without the white sunglasses - it wouldn't have near the impact. I like it as well - Very Cool And Timeless - thank you for the kind comment - that is the first time anybody has ever said anything nice about this image here. I wish I knew how to post images Feb 26 06 12:03 am Link I love this image, the model looks amazingly serene yet still exudes a sort of quiet sexuality (she has a very Marilyn Monroe vibe both in and out of pictures), the clothing is flattering and by one of my favorite designers and I love the photography. While it's been viewed no one comments on it. ~Tiffany B.~ Feb 26 06 12:19 am Link Phoenix E wrote: lizzy love its because you have right next to it another shot from the series that shows more fully your breathtaking beauty. Feb 26 06 10:15 am Link The images below didn't do bad, just didn't do as well as I would have liked. In "Focus", I believe it may have been the nature of the image. In "Rain", I had really thought it would have gotten much more attention than it did. BUT, having said that...I'm thankful for every hit and comment I received! Feb 26 06 11:00 am Link Kevlar Gal wrote: No... not me. I do spend quite a bit of time on them though! Feb 26 06 08:08 pm Link Here's my current favorite. I get goosebumps everytime I look at it. You know that thrill when you look at a photo and you can't believe you captured it? This was a magical shoot. What I like is the tones, the tight crop, the shape of the model's eyes, the blown out highlights on the shirt. This feels very 1930's Berlin to me... and is influenced by the imagery in Christopher Isherwood's collection of stories called "Berlin Stories". Also, this photo garnered the best compliment I've ever been given by another photographer who wrote.."the only thing I don't like about this photo is that I didn't shoot it." Can't ask for more than that. I shot this on a saturday morning in my kitchen... the model was in front of a piece of fabric hung on the wall, one 1000 watt tungsten softbox light and my $75 55mm f1.8 lens. Enjoy.... Feb 26 06 08:22 pm Link This one. Then again it doesn't really fit in with the fashion/glamour stuff. Feb 26 06 08:28 pm Link Well I love this shot, but it has never been commented on....
