A new one: "Models that cross the line"
Any photographers or the like have a model cross the line? Maybe one that groped your hiney? Jun 20 05 10:26 am Link I can only hope!! LOL! Seriously though, I learned a tough lesson years ago with a model who I worked with. We did the shoot and she came by the house later that same night to "look over" the shots. Long story short, she loved the shots and me getting her breakfast in bed... After that night I never heard from her again. Never mix business with pleasure, no matter how tempting the offer! Jun 20 05 10:32 am Link Posted by Reese: indeed...groping has occured (Make up artists seem to have a thing for me not the models) but whether or not it was my "hiney" i couldn't say, because I have no idea what it is. Jun 20 05 10:32 am Link Posted by Reese: Many many times... got patted on my butt (buns of steel)... complimented on it ( Jun 20 05 10:40 am Link I've been offered favours over money but favours don't pay the rent! Jun 20 05 10:45 am Link Posted by Rich Mohr: Long story short, she loved the shots and me getting her breakfast in bed... I am not seeing the problem here... did she hurt your feelings by dropping you after you had sex with her? Jun 20 05 10:46 am Link Posted by Fred Brown: Yeah... but the money you save on an escort service can be put towards the rent... duh... LOL Jun 20 05 10:47 am Link No, I've never been felt up by a model or anything, but I do have someone e-mailing me who is a little odd. This model e-mails me and says she really likes my work and wants to shoot. She sent a picture of herself that was taken at a wedding (typical ugly bridesmaid dress) and her stats. So we e-mail back and forth about shoot ideas and then she launches into "Right now I'm wearing a denim skirt and a pink thong, does that turn you on?" This is an 18-year old talking to a 37 year old fat guy. She's either got a problem that is difficult to pronounce, or it's a guy just trying to mess with me. Either way, I don't see a shoot in our future. I'll have to hand her over to someone willing to be completely inappropriate. Visual Mindscapes, what's your number? Jun 20 05 10:48 am Link Posted by LarryB: Made me chuckle... thanks... LOL Jun 20 05 10:50 am Link By Udo "Yeah... but the money you save on an escort service can be put towards the rent... duh... LOL" First of all, you're a riot Udo!! And to think my mother keeps telling me germans have no sense of humour!! I tell her, "Vee haf vays of making you giggle"!!! Jun 20 05 11:04 am Link I have never ever crossed the line...I don't think. I do although usually give the photographer a hug after a shoot....I do that to all my friends male and female. It is just my "social" thing that I do. There is no meaning behind it sexually....it is just saying thank you...lots of love...I'm your friend..kind of way. Is that crossing the line??? I have just always been that way to anyone I know or become friends with. McKenzie Jun 20 05 11:07 am Link Why is it if I take out a part of a quote, I lose the quote box and it looks like I wrote it?? Is the world against me or am I a dolt?? Careful how you answer that.... LOL!! Jun 20 05 11:07 am Link Posted by McKenzie: Well, I hope that changes by the 5th!!!!! ;-) :-D Jun 20 05 11:08 am Link Posted by Keith aka Wolfie: Posted by McKenzie: Well, I hope that changes by the 5th!!!!! ;-) :-D You will get a hug from me!!! Don't push your luck! LOL...your such a nut! Jun 20 05 11:10 am Link Posted by McKenzie: Posted by Keith aka Wolfie: Posted by McKenzie: Well, I hope that changes by the 5th!!!!! ;-) :-D Oh man!!! I was so hoping for some cute ass comment!! I shall now go sit in a corner and pout... :-( Jun 20 05 11:11 am Link Oh boy, The stories I could tell..... But Divorces in NJ are too expensive.... Ok, Once I had a model actually cross the line and I had to put her back into place. But let me tell you, It was one of the hardest things (no pun intended) I ever had to do. What is it with you models? :-P Don't you know that No means Yes! :-P (I am going to get stoned to death for that one as well I guess!) Jun 20 05 11:12 am Link Posted by McKenzie: Posted by Keith aka Wolfie: Posted by McKenzie: Well, I hope that changes by the 5th!!!!! ;-) :-D You will get a hug from me!!! Don't push your luck! LOL...your such a nut! YEA!!!!!!! I'm out of the corner!!! WOOHOO!! Hmmmm, that almost sounded bad.... :-D Jun 20 05 11:14 am Link Jun 20 05 11:54 am Link Yep... Just as I suspected... Models are molesting photographers as well... LOL Only the photographer's don't complain... Jun 20 05 11:55 am Link Posted by Ty Simone: Wanna know why divorce is so expensive? 'CUZ IT'S WORTH IT!!! Jun 20 05 12:03 pm Link I don't think I've ever had a model physically touch me sexually during a shoot. I've definately had some come on to me verbally and let me know that they wanted the physical contact though. I've also had models ask me out afterwards (not so strange, any business relationship sometimes becomes a personal relationship). However, I've always respected the sanctity of the set (and I expect the other participants to do likewise). Even if I'm shooting someone I happen to be intimate with, in my personal life, when I'm doing a shoot, it's totally professional. Jun 20 05 12:06 pm Link Posted by Reese: How true, lol - models can get away with things that photographers could only dream of. Is it me, or is it perceived as less "pervy" to the outside world when the model makes advances? Jun 20 05 12:13 pm Link Posted by Ched: Hey Ched; Jun 20 05 12:20 pm Link Posted by CO_Charlie: Posted by Reese: How true, lol - models can get away with things that photographers could only dream of. Is it me, or is it perceived as less "pervy" to the outside world when the model makes advances? Nope, Only less Pervy if the Female does it. Jun 20 05 12:25 pm Link lol - i suspected as much Ty Jun 20 05 12:34 pm Link I can't say I've ever had a model "come on" to me during a shoot. I've had one or two do it in private chat on OMP though. To tell you the truth I probably wouldn't react to it if a model did that during the shoot as I am usually quite oblivious to outside stimuli while my eye is in the eyepiece. Jun 20 05 12:45 pm Link Actually I have had models cross the line several times. You would think that the bright white tape would be noticable, But no... they simply walk outside the little box I taped off and continue on like nothing was there! I keep telling them that they can not cross the line, Ever, But they never listen. Of course, had they listened, I would have a virtual zoo of models (not to compare you to wild animals.... more like civilized domesticate ones.....) :-) I am going to rot in hell for this post. I know it! Jun 20 05 12:49 pm Link I've never had a model make sexual advances, probably cause all the girls in the room are hotter than me, well they are... For me crossing the line is when they show up unprepared, wearing the wrong thing, and acting like I owe them something.... What do I owe you? What! *shakes hippie hair out* ohhh.... that's better man. You know you should just chill or like something (But seriously folkes, if there are any hot young male models looking for a photographer to "play" with, cross a line cross a line!) Jun 20 05 01:29 pm Link Posted by Star: I've never had that happen to me either. It might have to do with the fact they're way hotter, or maybe cause they're usually so much taller that they don't want to bend over to talk to me, or maybe cause I'm older than them, but hell, look at all those older dudes with lolitas on their arms. Posted by Star: that and I hate it when guys leave the toilet seat up and/or "miss." Jun 20 05 02:38 pm Link Posted by Udo R Photography: Posted by Fred Brown: Yeah... but the money you save on an escort service can be put towards the rent... duh... LOL LOL now that's funny. Jun 20 05 02:43 pm Link My lawyer advises me that I don't recall. Jun 20 05 02:46 pm Link Well....I've had two people set up shoots with me that I had to cancel because it became clear that they were looking to act out some S&M fantasy with a female photographer. No, I don't include spanking in my photography... Jun 20 05 03:05 pm Link I have NEVER crossed the line with a photographer..although I shot with a one photographer recently who had me very tempted..if I ever quit modeling..he's so gonna get a call. . p.s. thank god he is NOT on here..hahah..he'd totally figure it out... Jun 20 05 03:09 pm Link Posted by Elizabeth Zusev: Ah that does bring up a good point...the male model and female photographer fantasy. Yes, I've had to deal with that myself, luckily only at the interview stage. Jun 20 05 03:31 pm Link i pleed da fif! Jun 20 05 03:36 pm Link thinking that if it happened to me, I'd probably blush big time and then fall on the floor with a heart attack Jun 20 05 04:47 pm Link Posted by Rich Mohr: Rich, Jun 20 05 05:02 pm Link Ya but the face your fucking, is not worth the fuck your facing!!! Jun 20 05 05:14 pm Link Posted by KM von Seidl: REALITY is more that I'm like a crabby Margaret Cho type clothed in hemp fiber, perpetuatual PMS, and not the slightest amount of interest in playing on their side of the fence. Margaret is hot! haha. I saw her a couple of years ago, so funny and so adorable. Jun 20 05 05:28 pm Link |
