CONFUSED! Yes, I'm new here & still learning about/exploring MM. So: I've seen much discussed regarding porn, inappropriate photos, questionable poses, so on... BUT what may or may not be appropriate often can be subject to debate! We all have varying opinions on what we consider tasteful or crossing a/the (vague) line & this could apply to professional standards as well. After all we 're all only human & no matter how impartial we may or may not be we have our own opinions, values, feelings. Furthermore people are influenced by others & society's 'standards'.
Some photos are blantantly pornographic & not appropriate here (as are those people who are looking for/promoting such 'assignments')! I'd like to know how others feel about this???
For me modeling, photography, my artistic works (I'm a freelance artist) are about expressing mySelf, creating something for Me but also to share with others & hopefully inciting an emotional response & thought. I've mainly modeled solo, but I do want shots with other people, esp. another girl/s. I'm NOT talking about capturing lewd acts! Just some benign, fun, different shots, and yes, some "sensual" shots, with guys and/or girls (artistic poses/photos!). I assume photos like those, such as two girls holding one another, would be considered inappropriate (or at least on here) ?  Anyone understand what I'm referring to? Any advice, suggestions, feedback would be appreciated. Thank You smile  Alora

Smut can be art too you know.. wink  Just because it's "inappropriate" or "offensive" doesn't mean it has no artistic merit...

Holding each other?  There are plenty of images of two females doing so and two males doing so.

It all depends on the poses.

I am a portraitist so my views are idiosyncratic and you should take them as such.  With that caveat:  If two people don't belong together away from the camera, then they don't belong together in front of it.

This is a very complex subject. It might be better to email Sigmund Freud for his thoughts.

I've tried my hand at this -- there are a few two-females images on my profile & tons more at my site, and the run the gamut from "sisterly" to "overtly erotic".

However, the challenge is the same -- can one apply artistic lighting, compositions, & values to the subject of two women together?  As with much of what I do, sometimes I come close & other time I miss the target entirely.

Moderators judgement applies here. If there are two girls (or guys) together, and ones tongue or fingers are visibly inserted in the others crotch, we don't allow it. Other than that, it is subjective and based on moderators judgements.
