boobs?
hey guys- i want to get more into modelling and have no problems doing artistic nude shots, but i don't want to get into a rut of having photographers only want to hire me if i'll do art nudes. should i put nudes in my portfolio, or only have them available upon request? i'm new to this so any advice would be helpful Feb 11 06 08:20 pm Link Don't put them up on your portfolio, you'll be bombarded. Best thing to do, state that you're willing to do select nude work, but will consider it on a case by case basis... cheers! Justin Feb 11 06 08:25 pm Link Put down whatever you feel comfortable doing during a shoot. Nothing says you have to do nude or even implied so if the photog makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable then dont do it. Check references, prior models and ask lots of questions, bring a escort to all shoots. Protect yourself, your safety first and worry about a good photoshoot second. Feb 11 06 08:25 pm Link Put a few in your portfolio, so people know you're open to that style of work. You do not have to accept every offer. Edit: They should still improve (or be equal to) the overall quality of your portfolio. Feb 11 06 08:30 pm Link Shoot with Krista! Feb 11 06 08:49 pm Link I can't really advise you, but I liked the title. -Don Feb 11 06 09:49 pm Link Boobs are funny! Feb 11 06 09:52 pm Link A thread named "boobs" should have pictures of boobs in it. You don't have to put them in your portfolio, but you should repect our "needs" after dragging us in here with a tease like that. -Dave Feb 11 06 10:07 pm Link allison a wrote: Looking at your portfolio it pretty much says you won't do, or aren't interested in doing nudes of any sort. Feb 12 06 02:14 pm Link If you are interested in Figure nudes, having 1-3 images in your port will be fine. You should be VERY selective of these images however..... make sure that they fully represent the style that you are most comfortable shooting and truely represent your concept for figure art. dave Feb 13 06 03:27 am Link I do not post nudes on here. I had one during Chirstmas, and I was massicured with request.I personally am selective. If you have a personal port site. I would sugguest posting them there. Then you can control who see's them. Feb 14 06 03:57 am Link If you put nudes in your profile you will get flooded with requests to do nude shoots. I suggest to models that work with me that they do not do that, especially since on this site you are able to download copies of the pics. Put you best DRESSED pics in here. The photographers know you have a body underneath, if they are looking for nude work they will still ask you, then you can decide. Feb 14 06 04:05 am Link It can go either way. As a photographer who is occasionally looking for nudes, I don't want to ask every girl who shoots in a swimsuit if she does nudes. It takes too much time. If I see someone who has an implied nudity shot, or says something to the effect that she's selective, then at least I have something to go from. IMO, you may want to put some type of nude picture up, even if it's implied, otherwise, no one will ever ask. Feb 14 06 08:51 am Link |
