My photo is going be on Tyra!!
I just got the coolest phone call from a model, ever! Evidently Sasha just got selected to represent the West Coast for the upcoming plus model contest on Tyra's show. Tyra personally picked her, and from what I hear, was really enthusiastic about the photo. I've just received a request for permission to use the photo when Sasha hits the runway on the show. Hmmm, gotta think about that. Not! I can't tell you how pleased I am, both for myself and Sasha, but also to see some gorgeous plus size models out there doing great work and getting attention and recognition for it. I'm a dude, but I really like Tyra's show, and watch it with my wife on ocassion (along with ANTM, DH, and Gilmore Girls--ok, I'm weird). See if they are willing to throw you into the credits at the end... can't hurt to ask, even if only for the extra bragging rights.
