The more active you are on the forums, the more models assume you must be legit.. I've had 3 models in the last 2 days tell me they didn't need to check my references because they see me on the forums all the time and that I seem OK. So, I guess being a forum rat has its advantages..

Hadn't run in to that particular one yet...most people look at my face in my self portrait and figure I couldn't hurt anything...

Yeah, sorta.. I have a few people ask me why I post so much. I figure the internet is a great tool to make yourself a bigger fish than you actually are... I have actually had people run into me on the street and say, "I know you!"

That's what you get for showing a self-portrait.

I've had people run into me in the street, however.

I had a shoot that just did not inspire me today.. Ever been driving to a location with a model and no matter how much you try to start a conversation, she don't want it... Quick, short yes/no answers.. We just didn't click. Very long, uncomfortable drive.

Actually a couple of my better models have been like that...  I just shrug it off and turn up the music.

Maybe it was my comment about enjoying diahrea...

"If 4 out of 5 people suffer from diahrea, does that mean 1 person enjoys it?"

*whimper* The model with no makeup, who, when I asked her to tell me about herself (while i was styling her hair grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) said "oh, i dunno, i'm pretty boring."

I wanted to die.

So eventually I made up an excuse about having to be somewhere at 6:30 and made her leave.  460 clicks too late.

I sorta wanted to end this one today too.. 30 miles each way, with probably less than 20 words spoken by all.

I really need to mirror that section up to my server, but I don't feel like wasting the bandwidth I guess.

John, next time put the car in reverse, stare out the back window reciting "I'm Keiser Sose". That should spark something.

You know...I've never hated anyone enough to do this, but it would be hilarious...I might do it to my best friend one day...  Start driving...any old direction...while your intended target is in the passenger seat.  Keep going until they finally ask where you're going or you reach an ocean.

If they successfully wait until you reach an ocean they've won...turn around go home and treat them to dinner.

If they ask at any time where you're going, stop the car IMMEDIATELY...wherever you are... and tell them to get out because you are there.  Then leave without them...
