$300 to shoot and be featured on a website. Pictures were awful but the money paid a bill.

boy, how things have changed.

A wedding when I was in college and broke (that was long ago -- right after the earth cooled).  That led to a wedding business with a buddy.  We shot weddings together for years until we got out of school, and gave you 67 5x7s for 67 bucks.

My first shoot was supposed to be TFCD, with gas reimbursement, and at the end of the shoot (which was an hour an a half) he gave me $50 for gas (it really only was $40 that I needed) and then another $50 because he didn't realize that I had driven that far (2.5 hours). Yaya! Not bad for the first shoot....

I cant remember exactly what it paid because it was about 1993, but it was for the cover of a Christian Romance Novel called Theodosia and I think it was around $300-$400.  Before this point I had done alot of charity promos and stuff...

Here is the link to a blurb: http://www.storyroot.com/TheoAnnaMar.html
Not sure why it says pub 1995 because it was shot WAY before that...

Lets see if it will show up:

July 1998: afternoon of fun on the beach for 50$/hr for swimsuit/casual stuff - easy day considering I lived 5 miles away and was going there anyway. (shrugs)

Mine was $200 (+ $50 for gas) for about 3 hours of easy work.  Swimwear mostly.
