I hate doing this or anything...but of the 4th of janurary I escorted a friend of mine to a shoot. I won't say her name or the photographers if you want to know who email me..I arrived early to the shoot to help set things up for her, and be there before she arrived...never left her side...shamefully this woman is claiming the photographer rapped her and thats just not possible. I have traveled shot alone with this person more times then I can count, and hang out with him once twice a week..my sister shoots with him too and speaks highly of him. I would never ever work with a slimeball. I have been rapped at a shoot before as well...and take this seriously!!!! I truely hate people trying to ruin others, and I will never ever recommend this lady!! You think you know somebody after 10 freaking yrs...please becareful people..this man is innocent!!!

Right, you just found out about this tonight..over two days later does someone tell you about an alleged rape. That happened in a studio while you were present...

Good way to keep yourself in our memory....

I know! smile I am practitioner of what I like to call ruthless irony. I am waiting for the male photographers who want all their female models to come alone and explain why you shouldn't have been there and why you protecting this photographer is a bad thing.

So what has this model told you about the situation?
Since you have been her friend for 10 years?

Maybe you should mention the name of the model so other photographers won't have to go through this.

Not to be mean but if someone is willing to ruin a persons reputation for no reason people should know so they can save themselves from this.

Too bad the courts do not have the right to put falsely accusing people in jail for fraud, false police report etc.

If you were there and never left her side it doesn’t sound like an issue to me. What’s the point?

That in its self is ruining the reputaion of a model...

If someone decided to let every local photogrpaher know that I cried wolf on a photogrpaher I bet I'd be losing jobs pretty damn quickly.

No outing on MM I'm pretty sure that means on either side..
You will just have to contact the OP and message her for the info of the alleged incadent....

Since this thread pops up right after one about older experenced models not getting the paying jobs the younger fresh faced models get....

They say, even bad press is good press...

There can be legal ramifications for doing such a thing.  I would definitely refrain from listing her name.

P.S.  This is not legal advice and you should contact an attorney regarding any matters of law.

Report her to the mods. Have her set off this site. You were there, there. Gavel down. case closed.

A one in a million situation. I need not be warned of someone I have no idea who it is.

IF?  You said you were there and it is”just not possible”

So… make up your mind.  First you say it is not possible then you say “if” like it is possible.  So if it did happen, were the police called?

i was there the whole time but i'd like to speak with upon why she would say such a thing,...they said police were called but its been two hours nobody had shown..

Maybe she wasn't raped during the session you were at.  Have you ever thought about that?

Perhaps they completed another session in which you were not there and the alleged incident took place then or if it was a TFCD/Prints, then when she returned, the incident happened then (these are just assumptions).

Whether this happened or not and considering that you claim to not know any facts, I would have definitely refrained creating this forum.

Of course, however, this is just my OPINNION, and is not meant to be legal advice.

get a hot drink, get off the forums and get your head in check. When you've calmed down and are certain about your claims, report them to the police. In most cases you can approach them seperately from your friend and let them know you may have information regarding the alleged crime.

the longer you spend trying to convince other people of your side of the story, the more of a story it'll be!

My opinion.....

1. Defamation and slander are very much illegal, not to mention pathetic.

2. I haven't read any of the responses nor do I care to (no offense), but if you know for a FACT that this photographer did not rape this model, or if you know for a FACT that this photographer did rape this model, then you should fully stand behind the person being honest regardless of what you may feel for the person personally. ... and that's not only because it's the right thing to do.

3. If you don't truly know what the FACT of the matter is, then this is just gossip and inapropriate.
