December 16, 2009 11:34pm Some harsh critics out there! I love this photo! Most models would be lucky to get that "ugly" face. Great styling and yet another great job from Mellisa!
December 13, 2006 7:55pm Given the cost of my background...
No I agree with the comments About the lines, but at the time I was not as good with lighting and photoshop as I have gotten since. I can't afford a more rigid backdrop yet, but getting there.
December 11, 2006 9:41pm this is a great shot, and I love the colors as well as the pose. Sure the pose could have been a little more "show me your war face" but it could have been A LOT worse! The only thing I have to add is I'm distracted by the soft background the model is standing on. Those little lines really draw my attention.
June 30, 2006 7:12pm Thanks,
Most of the models I work with have never touched any form of weapon in their life so it is fairly hard to get a correct stance.
And thanks for the comments on the costume, I made it myself. The catch is I am not very good with the sewing machine and it will not stand up to much actual walking about. Velco and safety pins are my friend.
June 30, 2006 6:41pm I like this picture, but I feel that it would have been even better if the model had a slightly more martial stance. What I mean is that she doesn't look like her legs muscles are tensed as if ready to fight. I am involved with Japanese martial arts, so I tend to notice such things. I like the idea and the model is beautifully dressed.
