I would have posed you in front of the door to avoid cutting off your elbow and allowing more light on your dark hair, which merges with the background.
The photographer has made one classic mistake - your nose line almost merges with the cheek line. Old texts on photography call this a "split profile" - one of the big no-no's in photography.
