October 24, 2008 6:03am I love this shot even more than the cut-off one the photographer is showing on his portfolio. It's iconic. Love the "heroic" angle, and the light. This has the feeling of David's paintings of Napoleon and a strong sculptural sense, too. The poised foot is perfect. The framing is excellent. And most of all, the two of you are pitch-perfect in your expressions and mannerisms.
