August 07, 2006 10:01am I also think this is a great photo. Did you try upping the ISO a bit to allow you to stop down and get a bit better depth of field in the available light? You could also isolate the ring in a PS layer and highlight it.
July 17, 2006 1:32am Kem, I know the ring is a bit indistinct - the lighting wasn't bright enough to allow me to get good depth of field... but I still like the effect, though

The model was talking about his partner so animatedly and it was so obvious, the love was right there on the surface, so when I was doing this close-up, I saw his ring and made sure to include it... It is one of my favourite shots because it captured something I felt truly represented the model... I'm glad you like it...
