April 29, 2008 8:21am This photo has a nice "East meets West" vibe about it. If you've ever seen the book "Fresh Fruits" -- about Japanese street fashion, I think you'll recognize the parallel. I especially like the way the colors of the bodega work with the colors you're wearing. The pose is nice, casual, and authentic. I like what the lens flare does to the image, except I'd like to see some of the contrast restored on you. The framing is really nice -- including all that background really makes the photo what it is, and yet my instinct is to pull closer.
