Your receding hairline is very appealing add to that shorter hair (maybe slicked back) it provides you with the ability to photographed in a more serious/business techie scene and with your hair relaxed like in your other photo you are on holiday enjoying yourself. My point is your receding hairline is what sexy is on a man it totally adds to a mans overall masculine look so you should allow it to work for you. Also try parting your hair on the side with short hair I bet it will look very good.
