The key for using gels is to not have them very high - I think I had the blue gel at maybe 1/8th power (maybe less).
My camera settings were 5.6 / 1/160th ISO 160. So I definitely did not turn the strobes up very high!

I love the light in this!

I tried to do it in a set of mine but the lights blew out the whole image every time.
