You also really have to avoid the predisposition to have gawdy fake plastic nails. It's impacting on your work and pushing it down into the People / Picture lads mag category. Fake or long nails died with pubic hair in the 70's, you won't find a single super model or successful actress with anything but 'doctors hands' these days, and not just because of the hygiene aspect.
Fake nails are as bad as poorly used hair extensions. It's something some girls entering the industry consider glam that basically tells you that they're either new to the trade, or hard nose in their view and don't embrace industry norms.
