When someone leaves you a comment on a pic of yours or a tag, if you respond in the same place, the originator of the comment does not see the comment or tag, unless they return to the same place where they originally left it. So, if you want to tell them, "thank you", you have to go back to their profile or port to leave a tag or comment on a pic of theirs. If you already know this now, disregard the latter part of this comment. Best to you!
