This is beautiful and arresting . It’s filled with gorgeous curves challenging awkward angles. A decision has been made (wisely in my humble opinion) to avoid obscuring detail with contrast.

As a fellow photographer I know that often you only get one shot at this before the scene moves on. My comments are offered in this context.

Much of the model’s face is obscured by tumbling hair and, very interestingly, blown highlight. There’s a dynamic to that, although only one eye is visible. The blown highlights at the lower back and around the chest draw a lot of attention. Positively, I think.

And of course one cannot help observing that the curves of the chair could follow the model’s wonderful shape at a different angle.

I suspect only another photographer would make this criticism but I’ll offer it anyway: The critical focus seems to lie on the model’s right foot and my eye gets drawn to it the more I look at the shot, which is often actually.

It’s a wonderful, beautiful, challenging, conflicting shot. I love it.
