As you said you're starting out and looking for input, to that end: Using hairlighting is an old school glamour shot way of separating the subject from the backround, especially a dark one. Hollywood photographers from the Golden Age were geniuses w/ lighting. Also the 30% angle of her face is very flattering. Good job.
