I had something of a similar idea, but had never met the model before we drove to the location, nor discussed fabric, etc. and we got a late start and the wind died.
Maybe next year I can go back to Idaho and the dunes and try to improve.

The temperature the day this was taken was in the low 50s. Wanda created the outfit from a bolt of cloth, scissors and safety pins.
