This type of shot is done with the model moving during the extremely long exposure. It's almost like a picture from 1900s where you had to stay still for several minutes. I've learned some tricks to improve it, but clarity is very dependent on the model holding perfectly still for 30, 60, 90 seconds or more... It's a lot harder than it sounds. Especially since I had her moving her arms and trying to keep the rest of her body still.
