We had a self portrait project for a school assignment. I'm American and am married to an Australian and have Permanent Residency here so for me a large part of who I am is being part of 2 separate cultures. I mixed up the words to the American and Australian anthems and painted them on my face. I just used face paint for the flags - my eyelids were just painted with face paint in the same way as the rest of my face. MM said you had to post 4 pictures of people and I haven't really worked with people yet so had limited options of what to put up.
