This photo has great eye contact. Notice that because it is B&W, the model's pupils look like they are more dialated than the color version of this photo (also in the list). This photo looks more "attractive" because of the pupil dilation.
Great models can control their pupil dilation (you can try it too, look into the mirror and think happy/passionate thoughts, you will see your pupil dilate and come back instantly).
This is a physiological reaction that captures our attention. We are hard-wired to give attention to persons that gaze us with dilated pupils. This type of photo sells, because it instantly grabs our attention. Marketting is a business of cutting through noise. On a busy street you will look at this photo, and may read the advertisement. Even if it is surrounded with other pictures, this one will most likley capture your attention.
The photographer and the model did an excellent job here.
