May 20, 2010 3:16am I like this shot it's fashion's spin on the Native American headdress. I like that it is not trying to be what it's not though. It's fashion or she wouldn't be wearing heals and the clothes she is wearing. I don't feel it is meant to be an "actual" representation of the Native American culture which is nice & a excellent creative twist.
May 16, 2010 2:50pm These are interesting, but they do not blow me away. My strong ties to and appreciation of traditional Native American culture puts me in a position to view this image as purely sensational.
This image could be stronger if the headdress were more stylized (referencing the traditional style while taking more artistic license) or if the rest of her costuming were in line with the headdress.
