May 19, 2010 12:20pm Nice line, pretty features, a little heat, all would work in the modeled-street I shoot here in Chicago. Peoria's close, Michigan Ave beckons ...
March 26, 2010 12:39pm Your port shows a slim body line, good curves, catchy face, expressive features, good feeling for fem. All are part of the genre I call modeled-street, all critical to making it pop. What I see a little of outright is sassy/thoughtful/haughty/pouty/funky/teasy/flirty expressiveness. That's all part of it too. Take a look at my port and Flickr sets for examples. Modeled-street's public arena stuff, shot close-up and wide, you pin-sharp amidst the blur and movement of Chicago hustle bustle all around. It blends thoughtful/flirty/fem body language and expressiveness into compositions involving interactive peopled surrounds. Done right, it astounds! From your side, it's primarily a matter of listening and concentrating only on the lens, public intimidation will disappear, we'll be on our way. It's fun, it's hard work, it's invigorating. Wander through my port and Flickr sets, you judge whether it's worth the effort.
The spring/summer shooting season is growing near, so give a holler if interested. A long-standing spring/summer call already is up, I'll be renewing it shortly to raise to the the top of the pile.
