April 10, 2010 2:23pm I lkie this passing well : it has a contrasty late 60's , Nico-ish vibe yet with a distinctly contempary feel. As it appears on my monitor - which is I like to fink pretty evenly calibrated (it's an 'issue' w/ me!) the contrast is (I can't believe a Contast Fiend like me is actually saying
this!) a bit OTT, & as a result a tad toooo much detail is lost (esp re the hair). I have found a way to get round this dichotomy, as used here...
Actually it don't come across a it appears on DA, but if I email you a jpeg you'll see what I mean : despite the hi noise / hi contrast general treatment, there's detail & subtlty of tone & shade in the hair (Hil has such a fine mane it woulds be downright Crim to just render it as monochrome black!) Lemme know if your interested in methodology...
