September 26, 2010 5:03pm If you don't mind some advice... I would say you need to blend the eyeshadow more. Do you use a blending brush? The way the eyeshadow at the top ends is too harsh for the look you're going for. Beneath her eyes looks too heavy, she has too much makeup on. The eyeliner looks messy and uneven, and her mascara looks smudged on. The lip liner isn't supposed to be visible. I also think the way the powder on her eyebrows was applied looks too harsh. The inner edges of her eyebrows look unevenly filled, and the outer edges look smudged. With a picture like this I think the makeup should have looked softer and more natural. It's kind of distracting away from her features. I hope you don't find my comment too harsh, I'm just trying to help you improve..
February 06, 2010 9:45am 'Celestine McGee', I like the way you put the FOCUS on the 'Eyes & Lips' and let the NOSE speak for itself. I'm not saying that you leave the 'Nasal Organ' alone. You simply respect the fact that the nose usually works ALONE. The nose is sort of like the 'Choir Director or Drum Major'. It just tells the other elements what to do. The FACE is a symphony and the nose is simply directing the BEAUTY. You truly understand how much GLOSS adds flavor to those '2 Luscious Layers' that everyone calls LIPS. I like to think of them as '2 Luscious Layers'. I like to think of you as a 'MIND Reader'; because you read MINE...!
