September 28, 2010 2:06pm my young apprentice, you've let me down. There are so many better angles to shoot this from than with the construction site in the background, the library is a beautiful building. Shallow depth of field can be your friend. I imagine that the reson you chose this location was because of the palm growing out of the pond, that I like, contruction site, not so much. You've much learning to do. =P
November 01, 2009 12:35pm Hey Robert, it's not photoshopped. That's actually a lotus pond on my campus. in fact, we have four and they are set in a concrete surrounding. used a 2-stop neutral density to balance the reflection and the model.
November 01, 2009 7:48am Ummm, the reflection is a bit odd... I am guessing it is shop'd because there would there would not be a reflection on the vertical concrete, it should end at the waterline.
