Home had meant fixed points and strict associations,
but now it was amorphic like emotion, flowing like wind.
Home was where her heart was, neither here nor there.
The clouds gathered above the nearby hills,
threatening and wrathful.
Wind swept the plains with echoed furies and remembered pain.
To be swept away, by such a wind was to lose one`s self.
Yet her `self` was all that remained,
after winds had stripped her bare,
her skin lashed by cold hail.
She turned toward the maelstrom,
with home`s fire in her heart, filling her soul.
Swaying, yet unbent, she weathered the storm,
facing the heart of darkness.
For when the clouds relent,
the sun always remains.
