June 16, 2009 5:02pm Portraits are a lot of fun, because the subjects lend their own energy to the shot. Here is my only criticism...studio lighting is tough, and you'll need to figure out 'what' you want to show in the final image. Using the (on-camera) flash tends to flatten faces, hiding wrinkles, but can hide depth and character and lovely skin tones. Not saying you did this, but your subjects look very interesting and full of life/pizazz/energy and lighting them differently might have a better effect. That being said, there is nothing wrong with this image!!
