"What can I say other than Rodney is one of the most amazing photographers I have worked with. I have modeled for him, and as a budding photographer way back in 2007, he taught me some invaluable tips and explained some of the hows and whys of photography and equiptment. I carry many of these lessons to this day. When I first heard from Rodney, I was heading down towards DC to meet another photographer who then became a friend. Rodney called asking if I would like to shoot, and I told him I couldn't because of my prior commitment. Upon hearing this, my friend said, "Heck no! If Rodney Mickle ask you to shoot, you do!!!" So I did, and I never looked back. Soon after, I saw Rodney again at a MM gathering in DC, and later that night, we shot a "chair" series in the middle of a back alley. "I worked with Rodney on a recent tour to the USA and had SUCH a fantastic shoot! It was my first time travelling to the US during a very short notice business trip- and I thought it would be such a shame to not work with a few photographers whilst I was in Washington DC- so I did! :) Rodney very kindly answered a very short notice TF casting call that I posted on another photography website- and the date was set! I was understandably nervous being in the US fir the first time on my own- it was also during a very testing time in my life- but I am SO glad I went with my gut instinct and spent one of the spare days I had on the trip with Rodney. When I first met Rodney he was instantly welcoming, very respectful and professional. He kindly collected me from my hotel and drove me to his lovely home where I met his family and felt very comfortable. We shot a series of fashion to art nudes in his home studio and I really loved the results! He also shared the imags with me very quickly. On top of this his family were an absolute pleasure and it would be so lovely to work together again in the future!
