I am Jen, and I am working to develop a professional career as a freelance make up artist and hairstylist. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis for Cosmetology about 2 years ago and ever since then I have been trying to find my place in this industry. I am currently working as a make up artist at a major cosmetic store at the Mall of America and love it! I am exposed to lots of different products, diverse people, and many great learning opportunities that have shaped me into the makeup artist I am today. What I am hoping to achieve through Model Mayhem is a chance to work with different people who would need a hair or makeup artist for various photo shoots and events. One of my goals as an artist is to do more freelance work and work in different fast paced or high fashion environments. I would say the hair and makeup styles I am able to achieve are pretty diverse. I am used to doing classic everyday looks as well as something more dramatic or edgy. I am able to be contacted by email and am looking forward to seeing what kind of opportunities are out there!
