FASHION AND BEAUTY

I have a sixteen year old Fashion and Beauty model I will be photographing soon.
Her mum oversees all messages and contacts which involve her organising photoshoots and is her chaperone.
They both want to increase her online portfolios and I was wondering what is the age limit to join Model Mayhem, as I feel this would be the ideal platform for her to display her modelling work.

Regards IAN...

You must be at least 18 years old and have the correct birthday listed.
Validation of age may be required.

It used to be at least 16 years old, but I see it has changed. When did that happen?

I can't find the rule but also, images of models under 16 yrs are not allowed.

Note this is based on the age of the model when the picture was taken. You cannot take a picture of an under age subject and then post it after a few years.

It's actually 18 years old, and it's not just for the model, but any subjects in the photo, including those in the background.

I had a photo of a couple with their baby and MM took it down because of the baby not being 18+. These folks were not models, they were clients.

So why does the search allow for 16 and up?

This would surprise numerous commercial and fashion photographers who legitimately work with child and teen models for magazines, catalogs and advertising. But then again, they don't really care what you think.
