If you were to get banned, which model site would you migrate to?

Besides the reputable models.com...? Only clones that sprung up, often initiated by banned members of MM for rules violation to have a place to bitch about us.

There's also modelplace.  I use that one for storage cuz they give you lots of photo slots but no one ever looks at them there.

I dunno... PaidModels.com has a lot of the features that I wish they'd implement over here. Namely, the model's posing interests listed on their portfolios. And a thread tracker. But they don't have near the traffic that this site does.

Following the rules so one does not get banned only takes about three of the 2 billion brain cells we have is it really that difficult?

There's a ton but none seem to have critical mass of people.

Craiglist's useful though.

I'm not so sure I'd even feel the effects. I've gotten 95% of my models for shoots from Craigslist, referrals, or OMP. MM has the highest model flake rate for me and I really only come here to check the boards and such every so often. I had signed up on ModelPlace, but that place is dead and after being strung along by a "model" over there for a shoot, I finally gave her a piece of my mind and told a mod to close my profile.

I'd probably do the same. But I'm hanging tough. If I can't find something good on MM or on four channels, then there's nothing good. In the world. Ever.

What she said.

And I actually do only get four channels.  My roommate and I took turns standing by the antenna to watch Medium tonight.

Now that's dedication to your television entertainment.

Here's a novel idea... just follow the rules and don't act or use language that pushes the limits.

Like Iona said that shouldn't use very many of your/our brain cells.

Yeah but pushing the limits is in the blood of a photographer...^_^

I love MM...although I watch from the sidelines alot, I find it difficult not to look at the site daily. Like many others say there are clones but they stink.

Not picking on you at all... but pushing the limits is the kind of behavior that we should have left behind in high school... I'm not speaking artistically or even professionally (in regards to your personal vision... if you are that good) but in regards to public behavior.  I can not recall a time when I have encountered someone in a public meeting or discussion that spewed the type of rancor I see frequently in here.  It just doesn't happen.

Take our SF Meet & Greet this past Saturday... probably 15-20 of us met, everyone was polite and talking, no one was ranting and no one was "pushing the limits" in regards to their personal behavior.  We all know the reason why... because it wouldn't be tolerated.

The only reason it happens on the net is because some folks know they won't be held accountable... so they act immature just to get away with it.

I'm way too cool for them to even consider banning me for any transgression.  Have you all forgotten that I'm the Mack?
