Ban! Ban! Ban!
If you were to get banned, which model site would you migrate to? Dec 14 06 12:01 am Link John Jebbia wrote: I'd get a permission to return. Dec 14 06 12:03 am Link none are as good as MM. I'd probably just die. Dec 14 06 12:03 am Link what other model sites are there besides OMP and MM? Dec 14 06 12:03 am Link Deadlynightshade wrote: Besides the reputable models.com...? Only clones that sprung up, often initiated by banned members of MM for rules violation to have a place to bitch about us. Dec 14 06 12:05 am Link Deadlynightshade wrote: There's a ton of MM clones. Dec 14 06 12:06 am Link Deadlynightshade wrote: There's also modelplace. I use that one for storage cuz they give you lots of photo slots but no one ever looks at them there. Dec 14 06 12:07 am Link I only know of OMP... that's it not sure I'd migrate though. Dec 14 06 12:10 am Link little apple blossom wrote: I dunno... PaidModels.com has a lot of the features that I wish they'd implement over here. Namely, the model's posing interests listed on their portfolios. And a thread tracker. But they don't have near the traffic that this site does. Dec 14 06 12:10 am Link Following the rules so one does not get banned only takes about three of the 2 billion brain cells we have is it really that difficult? Dec 14 06 12:11 am Link Deadlynightshade wrote: There's a ton but none seem to have critical mass of people. Dec 14 06 12:14 am Link I think I would just have to get cable for entertainment... :-D Dec 14 06 12:16 am Link I'm not so sure I'd even feel the effects. I've gotten 95% of my models for shoots from Craigslist, referrals, or OMP. MM has the highest model flake rate for me and I really only come here to check the boards and such every so often. I had signed up on ModelPlace, but that place is dead and after being strung along by a "model" over there for a shoot, I finally gave her a piece of my mind and told a mod to close my profile. Dec 14 06 12:21 am Link What are some other good model sites that have dependable people and higher amounts of traffic? Dec 14 06 12:38 am Link I would just take a nap i think. Finding someplace else, uploading all that info.. ugh. no thanks. Dec 14 06 12:39 am Link Iona Lynn wrote: It's not a matter of having, but using them. Dec 14 06 01:34 am Link Kizzy wrote: I'd probably do the same. But I'm hanging tough. If I can't find something good on MM or on four channels, then there's nothing good. In the world. Ever. Dec 14 06 01:39 am Link I love you, Iona! Oh, off topic, sorry. lol Joe Dec 14 06 01:40 am Link K. Holden wrote: What she said. Dec 14 06 06:17 am Link Dec 14 06 06:34 am Link Kizzy wrote: They've got cable in your part of Texas? Dec 14 06 06:48 am Link Here's a novel idea... just follow the rules and don't act or use language that pushes the limits. Like Iona said that shouldn't use very many of your/our brain cells. Dec 14 06 07:09 am Link Dec 14 06 07:15 am Link RStephenT wrote: Yeah but pushing the limits is in the blood of a photographer...^_^ Dec 14 06 07:22 am Link crypticarts wrote: Not picking on you at all... but pushing the limits is the kind of behavior that we should have left behind in high school... I'm not speaking artistically or even professionally (in regards to your personal vision... if you are that good) but in regards to public behavior. I can not recall a time when I have encountered someone in a public meeting or discussion that spewed the type of rancor I see frequently in here. It just doesn't happen. Dec 14 06 07:44 am Link Alll I know is, I'm getting to close to my free t-shirt to get banned now... Do the other sites offer incentives? Dec 14 06 08:33 am Link get on your hands and knees and beg for a return. Dec 14 06 08:40 am Link John Jebbia wrote: G'morning, John! Hmm. If I got banned from MM, I'd network via all of the other sites that I maintain active listings at. Dec 14 06 08:43 am Link I'm way too cool for them to even consider banning me for any transgression. Have you all forgotten that I'm the Mack? Dec 14 06 08:51 am Link |
