Hi, Does anyone have a link, reference, or info where I can get a free model release template. Nothing fancy.  I've tried a number of online "free" sources which are sneaky and require a sign up or ask for credit card info to "keep on file"!  Ha!
Thanks in advance.

The Kalt Model Release Cards can be had from B&H for $7.95. These are small cards that can be carried in your pocket.

The ASMP used to have several releases on their site but I can't find them now. I suspect that they are only available to members.

As noted IP attorney Ed Greenberg points out frequently, model releases are best written specific to the states in which they are expected to be used. In his 2015 book with Jack Rezniki, "The Copyright Zone" he offers a New York specific release which should cover just about anywhere. Though dated, that book, link below, is an excellent primer for the legal issues likely to afflict photographers. I would urge everyone to educate themselves of how the law affects us, as you can ruin your whole day (and your entire financial +future, for that matter) through ignorance.
