I have not been as active as i used to be, but I log in now and again and read stuff etc. Just realized that I joined 17 years ago today. Prolly ok to file this under not interesting at all but it made me smile. I got to shoot some of the most amazing people from here, I was the first Model Mayhem Edu interview, used to be a gatekeeper, so that was cool. So, now I wanna ask ya'll

How long ya been here? Do you have a favorite shoot story? What has this site done for your work?

I became a member a second time around 13 years ago.  My first membership was a freebee offered to me by the MM folks.  I don't remember the exact date but I recall my membership number was somewhere in the 3600 range.  I don't remember the exact number.   I added a couple images initially but really didn't use the site.  Back then it didn't offer much compared to OMP.  I logged on every month or two to check for improvements.  Then one time my site was gone.  I emailed MM to find out what happened and I didn't any help to restore my port. So just OMP until 2011.

It has been almost 15 years for me. I'm here almost every day. I've done over 600 photo shoots with models I've connected to here.

Is this where the "oldies" check in???
I'll hit the 20 year mark next June.

It doesn't seem that long ago that I first logged on.

Yes, I still shoot and still use MM for models.
Although not as much as I did 2006-2010.

Had to check  lol  2006. Have been some fun times. Still sort of active. I'll stop shooting when they close the lid.

It'll be 17 years for me in October.  I am still shooting for vsp-poker.com  The models have changed and I still book models via MM, but it seems a lot of the new models flake more often nowadays.

This is Bridgette. I think she was one of the earlier models I connected with via MM.  On this shoot, while we were in the waist-deep water, a big fin suddenly came up and started circling us.  We both froze in fear...and then saw the fin arc downwards and realized it was a curious dolphin checking us out...not a shark.  Phew!

P.S.

Believe it or not...that calm water was in fact, the Atlantic Ocean.

Ya been here since this place started.
I think I'm on my 5+ profile here.
I think my OG one was 4484 something...

Still creating art & booking jobs.

I'd say
25% bookings through MM
75% bookings through my website:

I would say if there was one avatar that was instantly recognizable, its yours! You have never switched that!

I've had a profile since Jan. 29 2007, so also seventeen years. Hadn't done a photoshoot since 2019. Mostly because of the Pandemic, but I may look into resuming photography is some capacity. Especially since I had bought an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mk. 2 in late 2018, and really only used it for a photoshoot with Melissa Jean.
Though I also entered photos in French Photo's World's Biggest Photo contest for the first time, and got six photos accepted.
