There seems to be a glitch going around and I'm lucky enough to get hit by it.

Instagram AI is false flagging posts and even the text in profiles. Stuff like this happens all the time. Difference this time is if you click the Appeal option your account will be stuck in appeal process. Instagram might send you notifications that they've reviewed the appeal. You might even decide to remove the posts in question after starting the appeal. Doing so changes nothing. Accounts are still listed as being under appeal and the restricted account status remains. I deleted all flagged posts and remove every text from my profile other than my account's name. After 3 days nothing has improved. Someone on Reddit claims to been in appeal for 10 days. None of our accounts are being shown to non-followers.

If your posts get flagged, click the appeal option at your own risk. I recommend just archiving or deleting the posts in question. Take the hit. Better that than being stuck in what is basically a shadow ban.
