Is there anything I should know about to connect a little better? The site is quite different from when I was working, before.

As a photographer, my inclination was to friend models I was interested in working with but I've come to realize that it could be much more fruitful to cast a wider net and friend just about everybody and anybody who is on MM within a 50 mile radius.

Why? We all have common ground, we love creating images and we are all on MM. A MUA or Photographer may know Models, Models may know MUAs, Photographers and other Models.

I would also recommend you post on Instagram, many MM'ers have done this, I am in that process. It's not ideal but it is HUGE and there are more potential options there.
