I have a couple of very old looking lens filters ( I’m guessing )
They are small and still in the original boxes with it looks like Japanese writing.
Does anyone know where I can look to figure out what they are?
I would post photos here but I don’t remember how.

Somewhere on the filter ring it should at least give the diameter in mm. That would help. Very small diameter filters are often rear filters for long telephoto and mirror lenses, or filters for 8mm cine cameras.
