Hi Everyone,

Currently I am starting a new business card design and just can't seem to come up with a professional looking font for my contact info. I am so tired of cards using Times New Roman, Arial, etc.. SO any suggestions?

Thanks,
Gary

It's where I found "scriptina".  I had been looking for something like that for a looooong time.

Depends on what type of image you want to portray when someone looks at your card.

Is there a graphic/photo on the card or just text?  Standard black ink on white cardstock or are you doing anything different?

One font that I would like to see used more often is London Tube.  It's modern but professional, and not remotely as boring as the standards like TNR or Verdana or Arial.

I really do like this font a lot. I agree, the standards have become so boring.

http://www.dafont.com has enough fonts to make you dizzy.

I made a great card using "Alien League" of all fonts. Surprising, really.

Why not use the font you use for your GLB watermark on your images?

For $150...I couldn't afford not to. smile And they're not a cheap print job either...two-sided.

Ok, good point. Mine are about 50 bucks for 500.But they are also front and back cards with high gloss on both sides. They`re like little photos with my info on them.

www.DaFont.com

You can even type in what you want it to say and it will show you each font before you download any fonts.

I also have a friend that can do business cards. 2500 for $130 right now. Double sided, UV coated, and designed all for that price. You send him the pictures and an idea of what you want it to look like and he'll get it done.

Mine too. smile I have a film strip of my images on the back and an underlay photo on the front with my info.

But, i still think 5,000, for $150, designed and printed two-sided, is a great deal.

I may use that as a part of my logo. I just want a clean type for my info such as phone number/e-mail address/web address.

I don't remember what font I used on this particular one, but I really liked it.

Here are mine for my custom automotive website... I need to order a new set with my other photography (scc-media.com) on one side.

That was over a year ago and I used Copperplate Gothic like a few people have already said in here.

Copperplate is excellent. Some others that work for business cards:

Albertina
Beaufort
Bernhard
Imperial URW
ITC Mixage
Largo SB.

I also use the Helvetica Neue family for items other than Headers.

Yea, it can be mind boggling. One night I sat myself down and thought, ok I am gonna go download some fonts for my cards an graphics, shouldnt take long.Well, several hours and thousands of font downloads later lol!

The thing is, some places name a font differently than others so you end up with a couple or few of the same font but it has a different name.
