alter-ego on set
Models...when you're "creating a character" for a set, how do you like to do a "makeover-as-alter-ego"? *example: does the purple wig make e-string look that much more different than her typical appearance? (I happen to very much like the particular shade!) Dec 09 06 11:36 pm Link Clothing and hair is a big factor for my getting into a character. I study the clothing and think of a person it reminds me of and try to emulate them and feel the era. i.e. At a photoshoot I did a few weeks ago I got into many characters. My first outfit reminded me of Joan Crawford, the second of a flirty french schoolgirl, the third made me think of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, so I grabbed a book to help me get into the character more. The last outfit made me think of my favorite actress, Emmy Rossum, going to the Emmy's or the Oscar's.
