A couple of models in that situation made a pronounced deal about soaking my chairs and thought it was quite funny.  I had to clean up the faux velvet ASAP otherwise a permant stain would be the result.  I did not get upset or scold them or make any negative reactions; just dealt with it.  Yes, Photographers get excited too, at least me, but only for a very short duration at the beginning. That does not mean sexual play is intended. If sexual play is intended it HAS TO BE at the model’s approval. But that is not what PHOTOGRAPHY is about.

Please don't make models the ever innocent party, they too are mischievous (had experiences).  Arousal is part of the Art Nude scene and should be treated with respect by all.  No excuses!

I'll take issue here. As a photographer, always be professional and assume that the model's behaviour and/or bodily functions are innocent. If you are not thinking that or assume that the model is not being innocent (sexually provocative), end the photoshoot. If you are shooting porn and expecting to engage with the model, that is not a standard type of photoshoot. If you are remarking about some secretions the are expressed from the models' vulva, you have to realize that it is a self-lubricating system and may have nothing to do with any arousal or excitation.

I have done over 600 art-nude photoshoots and worked with agency, Playboy, NakedNew, alternative, adult, freelance and newbie models. I have seen secretions from many of them and always assumed it was innocent and the models were not aroused, With the recognition that is is normal, I'm prepared at every photoshoot and never make an issue of it. If the model wants to discuss it, I'm fine with speaking in plain anatomical terms. It is the same thing when models are on their cycle. It is just another function of the body that my studio is fully prepared to handle, with respect and discretion. As for myself, if arousal was starting, I would understand that I am not focusing thoughtfully on my work as a photographer. I little bit of deeper thought serves as a corrective measure.

You have to realize that many men make false assumptions when there is a nude model in front of them. Often, these models feel very vulnerable and will acquiesce to the worst actions of the photographers. So if you want to call yourself a photographer, keep your photoshoots on the straight and level and don't deviate into bodily functions. If you don't, your conversation may be misinterpreted and now you have a problem. Since I joined MM, I know of 5 fauxtographers in Toronto that were successfully convicted of sexual assault. Don't think you are a Player or are chummy with the model and can talk about anything. Don't let the little head do your thnking.

I have been hosting international travelling models for over 13 years. Some stay for more than a week. We usually do a lot of photoshoots and they can be intense with bodypainting themes and/or remote locations. However, I do not comment about their bodily functions or ask about their personal lives. The same with me, I don't talk about my personal life. There is lots to talk about the artistry and technical aspects of my work that will lead to beautiful creative and emotional photography. As guests at my studio, the model always have the right to stop at any time and look after any personal needs. They don't need to report the need for the break to me. About the only thing I comment on is when I hear a growling stomach. It often means the model is hungry. So I will offer to stop the photoshoot and offer the model nutritious food of her choice. This is done as a safety measure as I don't want a model to feel she is being pushed to exhaustion. and is at risk of collapse.

Some things are different with women which you need to understand and respect. When I have a model here for a photoshoot, they are always treated as an equal and never experience the typical male.female interactions. So if you approach your nude photography with that mindset, you are unlikely to get aroused.
