Voice controlled image editing
Jan 14 17 01:15 am Link A gimmick to sell subscriptions, or promote the free tablet app. Crop -- make it square - flip horizontal -- undo -- commit changes -- post to Facebook (or synonyms of those commands defined in a lookup table) Important missing details -- Where was the image "Crop" defined? Would it work with a picture that is not a perfectly clear and centered bear? or face? What is the range of action. What effort does it take to program in social media account details on a device with a 15 month lifespan that is unlikely to be used for practical commercial production? Workable "voice to text" has been promised as being just 2 years away for 3 decades. I have yet to see it work reliably. I have family that works doing voice transcription. There are still court reporters. Even telephone banking (among the best systems) has a very limited vocabulary, confirms everything and still transfers to a human if in doubt.
